Lifetime’s Dance Moms
Last night, during the new episode of Lifetime’s Dance Moms, Abby Lee’s dancers performed a Hunger Games inspired routine. The costumes were perfectly suited to the number, and much more interesting than usual! As seen on dancer Nia above, the girls wore tan leotards draped with a nude tie-dye stretch fabric. They accented these costumes with gold leaves for some sparkle.
This look can easily be achieved with some simple stretch fabrics! My favorite choice is our Misted Gold spandex fabric combined with our brown solid tricot with clear all-over foil (both below). The gold has sparkle to stand out as a fierce costume for dance, gymnastics, or stage while the brown gives shine to the costume’s look.
