About REOCOER® Carbon Fiber
REOCOER® polyester is produced by capturing carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions from industrial sources and converting them into high-quality polyester filament. In short, it transforms pollution into potential.
How It Works:
- CO₂ emissions are captured directly from factory operations.
- Instead of being released into the atmosphere, the CO₂ is purified and converted into green ethylene glycol, a key ingredient in polyester production.
- The material is then polymerized into REOCOER® fibers, which can be spun into fabrics for activewear, swimwear, and fashion garments.
In other words, the process transforms CO₂ into a useful product—durable fibers, locking it into textiles.
Real Environmental Impact
Recent testing verified by SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co. Ltd. (2024) showed that:
- REOCOER® carbon-captured polyester reduces carbon emissions by 28.4% compared to virgin polyester yarns.
- 320 kg of CO₂ is captured for every ton of yarn produced — equivalent to planting approximately one million trees in its first production phase.
With expansion plans targeting 200,000 tons per year, this innovation could significantly reduce emissions across the textile industry.
