Tricot

Stretch solid tricot fabric is a knit cloth known for its fine gauge and smooth texture. It contains spandex to provide high stretchability and excellent shape retention. This fabric is typically made from nylon or polyester blended with spandex and used for:

• Swimwear: Due to its resistance to chlorine and saltwater, quick-drying properties, and ability to retain shape and fit snugly.
• Activewear: Ideal for sports apparel such as leggings, sports bras, and cycling shorts, this material allows unrestricted movement while maintaining form.
• Lingerie: Its soft texture and stretch make it suitable for undergarments that require a close and comfortable fit.
• Performance Costumes: Often used in dance and theatrical costumes where durability and flexibility are essential.

Pine Crest Fabrics offers many solid tricot cloths, the most popular of which is the Kira Matte Collection. This textile is made with Creora® HighClo™ Spandex yarn and provides the highest level of chlorine resistance, holds shape and fit, is UV protective, and has a 4-way stretch. Over 40 colors are stocked in our Portland warehouse, with an additional 60 colors available by the single (77-yard) roll stocked overseas. You can also order a custom color or use this nylon fabric for printing to create your unique print.
